My company has removed the car from service and I am under the impression that it was "removed from service" by GMīoth front sturt towers were replaced due to leaks in both Right rear axle bearing replaced Left rear axle bearing replaced The vehicle exhibited the issues, but even after replacing ALL of the steering components the car was not able to be safely driven. I was unable to steer, and it became a very dangerous situation. This time I was accelerating to freeway speeds and the steering froze. The vehicle was driven 9 miles from the dealer and the steering system failed again, 4th time in as many weeks. ECU was updated with new software, and wires reconnected at no charge. There were wires hanging out of the steering wheel. Duplicated by dealer!!! Took the car home, but it didn't feel right still. It goes "light" and the driver's inputs to the steering wheel are not translated properly to the road. The vehicle started having the same issue it has had over and over with the steering. In addition, they needed to do suspension work: claiming that the bushings on the front suspension were worn out. This is the second time this calendar year that there was a steering rack failure on this car. Steering shaft cracked and became disconnected from the steering rack causing driver to lose control of vehicle. Have to turn hard in order to break the sticking loose. Almost seems to have a life span of 100 km.įront right and rear left sway bars damaged, requiring repair. This was the passenger side wheel bearing and wheel speed sensor this time. Had to replace front passenger wheel bearing ![]() Knocking sound from front of car, stabilizer bar and both tie rods replaced Also did the front brakes, new pads and rotors. ![]() Control arm and bushing is one piece, had to replace entire lower control arms on both driver and passenger size.ĪBS light and anti-lock noises. Lower front control arm hydraulic bushings leaking. Also needed to replace both outer tie rod ends. There was noise on small bumps on the roadīroken sway bar links. ![]() Lost communication with a sensor, had to replace a wire under the carpet, driver-side. Stabilizer link(s) were defective and replaced. Stabilizer link(s) made a "rattle" sound over certain bumps. Front left hub bearing failed and was replaced. Noise level did not change when transmission placed in netural while car was moving on highway.
